Admissions Policy

At American School International, we welcome all students who are interested in joining our community and who meet the age requirements for the grade level they wish to enroll in. We believe that a diverse student body enriches the learning experience for everyone, and we are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all of our students.

Admissions Process

  • To apply to ASI Costa Verde, please follow the steps below:
  • 1. Review the age requirements for each grade level to ensure that your child is eligible to enroll.
  • 2. Submit an application form.
  • 3. Provide the required documentation:
  • Copy of the student's ID, birth certificate, or passport.
  • Copy of the parent's ID or passport.
  • School transcript and report cards.
  • Two recent passport-sized photographs of the student.
  • Immunization record and health certificate.
  • Behavior and good-standing letter of the last school attended.
  • 4. Following the receipt of the pre-enrollment fee, schedule an admissions interview with a member of our admissions team. This is an opportunity for us to get to know your child and for you to ask any additional questions you may have about the school.
  • 5. Once your child has been accepted to ASI Costa Verde, you will receive a letter of acceptance and instructions on how to complete enrollment.

Pre-Enrollment Policy

  • At ASI Costa Verde, we understand that investing in a full-English education is a significant decision for families. We believe that every child deserves access to a high-quality education, and we strive to make our tuition and fees as affordable as possible.
  • 1. Pre-Enrollment: A one-time, non-refundable payment is required to cover the cost of processing applications, interviews, and evaluations. This fee must be paid before applying to the school but does not guarantee a seat.
  • 2. Enrollment: Once a new student is admitted to ASI Costa Verde, a non-refundable enrollment fee must be paid in full to reserve their seat. For returning students, the non-refundable enrollment fee must also be paid in full by the re-enrollment deadline to secure their spot for the next school year. Parents will not be able to re-enroll their child if any fees from the current school year have not been settled.

Set Expectations

Let your child know ahead of time that he or she will be talking to the Director or the Psychologist.

Dress Child Appropriately

Your child should be able to move comfortably and he or she should wear rubber sole shoes.

Leave Toys at Home

Reduce the possibility of your child being distracted during the assessment and the interview.
